I will work on drive-by for ya

1stbluSS- yes it does just a lil man

fifasf- $280 total in parts . It took us about an hour to piece it together and weld it up . An expirience exhaust shop shouldnt have a bit of trouble , even if theyve never seen a Cobalt in their life I have no clue what to tell ya about labor .

Thanks alot for the positive comments . I will try to get inside the car vid too , with the windows up and air on , its really not much louder than stock inside .

Ok - you got the flow you wanted, pretty quiet and definitely DEEP!! Now here's the million $$ question - what about the drone inside?? Is there any at highway cruising speeds?? Thanks in advance - and keep up the GREAT work!!!

the gm exhaust is also very deep sounding. actually out of all the exhausts out there I thought it sounded the best and is the cheapest. At my car meet there was a borla, a corsa, and a GM and I really like the gm deep tone a lot

And what else do propose . It barely looks bigger than the stock tip and fills the exhaust cut out well , and Im surely not having anything bigger than 4" . The 4.5 and 5" tips look dumb and are pointless IMO .

your best bet on labor is to find one of those muffler shops in "little mexico." my experience with the one near me in Oak Cliff, Tx, has been great! its called Santos Radiators & Mufflers and they do great, fast work and only charge $35 for a muffler install. i had it done on my old truck and it still is perfect. try one of those shops out.

The place I am going to get a quote from sells flowmaster and if they have it there and the price sounds good he said they can install it right there. I like the way the borla sounds , I just wish there was a better sounds clip than the ones I have heard from the flowmaster 40 series. I think they are too loud and sound like crap.

Ok 4" tip doesn't look dumb and isn't pointless. Only cars that have 4"+ turbo-back exhausts should have 4"+tips, IMO.

What ever floats ya .... a 3" tip in that big bumper cutout looks equally as stupid .

Soundclip from inside the car , streetfire is still doing the optimizing thing , so it may not be ready to play for a bit . I will have a friend record a few fly by's tonite , prolly wont be up till tomorrow .

In car is first with windows up , then a bit witht he windows down and roof open .
