That sounds really nice, I wonder if I would get somewhat the same sound off my LS.. what do you guys think? 2.25" pipe 2.5"tip or 2.5" pipe 3.0" tip?

Impressive now I just have to see how much it would be to do get this installed . Like it a lot though man!

p.s. Did feel more of a gain with this? I would wonder what it would do on the dyno, I mean it has to be good considering 2.5 is 2.5 right? or at least the same as any other exhaust. Just like a CAI , I cut my enitire filter box off right below the sensor shaved it down, popped a K &N on it and boom, CAI. I think my mission with this car it to not actually buy any aftermarket parts and just customize the stock ones. Hey if it works and you save money then what the hell right? Could you do anything to the stock headers? Or just buy it new?

That sounds great man!!! I've been looking at exhaust set ups and they all sound way too farty to me. The only one I've liked is the CTI, but it's kinda pricey. I think that this would be great. I hope that it would all work the same on the RL. I think we have the same set up and clearances........I just can't remember for sure. Good job

I have toask with a CAI and exhaust what kind of power am I realistically looking at now? I was thinking like 225 hp 205 tq. Is that a good average?

Why do you use the Turbo XL? I had the regular Turbo Muffler on my GA. What is the advantage over the regular one compared to the XL one? Thanks.

According to the Borla website the XL is for larger displacement engines. It's probably just more free flowing.

So it should still be fine to run it on my little 2.0 liters of displacement. Thanks for the answer.

I wouldn't argue with his sound clips. It looks and sounds great to me. With it still being 2.6", I can't imagine it creating issues with backpressure or lack there of. I'm debating if I want to go this route or the Corsa Touring. (That's my escuse for still having the stock muffler and I don't have the money for either right now)

Quick Reply: Homebuilt Boral exhaust , soundclip . Turned out great
