Homemade Intake - Info
Has anyone out there made there own intake? I was looking around last night and realized that you could make your own intake like the XTC one, for probably half the price. I am just wondering if anyone knows what bends of tubing would be needed. It looks like a 45* and 90* bend, 2 straights couplers and 45* coupler and you should be set. I was just looking at replacing the stock tubing and then doing the airbox mod. Any info. would be very helpful. Thanks.

Also, all of the aluminum tubing and couplers can be bought off eBay, you will just need to weld on a smaller tube to hook up the hose that attaches to the intake (I forgot what it is called).

Hmm, looking at the first picture here:

It looks to only be two pipe with one bend eacd, a 45* coupler and 2 straight couplers. Is that not the actual product? It says that that is a picture of what you will be receiving.
