How to adjust B&M Shifter
To adjust your shifter so that it doesn't sit so far forward in 1st gear, all you need to do is:
1. Shift into 4th gear, make sure you're in 4th gear, or things could get bad.
2. Loosen the clips on the passenger's side cable clip.
3. Slide the passenger's side cable clip completely forward, toward the front of the car, until it stops.
4. Re-clip the cable clip
You won't alter anything by doing this because the cables still correspond correctly, as long as you only move the right cable clip, it wont screw anything up.
It moves the shifter about an inch backwards, so that it's more centered.
