how to tell trans axle is fully seated ?
hi guys normally i just lurk and stalk but this time im struggling and would appreciate any input
anyways i'm having some real trouble seeding my trans axle back into place after having to remove it to drill and tap out my drain bolt, got that all done but no matter what i do i can't seem to get this trans axle to pop in and seed as fully as it was before , atleast i don't think
any tips or tricks you might have ? i used a little bit of anti seize didn't help , and the trans fluid lubed
her up and nothing lol
i made sure nothing was blocking on inside of trans,
i took c ring off and tried to see if that was the issue to put back on and keep jiggling and even with that off it didn't want to seed
i also tried a bunch of other stuff and nothing seemed to work but maybe it has to be seeded first before the intermediate shaft is but i wanna check before i do it lol , pls any ideas or thoughts
