Did someone spill it when they were filling it up? If so, that's exactly where it flows to if that happens!

Is it possibile that when you were changing oil that you spilled some on top of the motor and it ended up under the cover?

i kno but its like everwhere like it was on th motor mount screws and in the throttle body well on top not in its jus wierd u kno what im sayin

Did your dip stick pop out and spray oil everywhere at some point? Or did someone with Terrets (sp?) do you oil change last time?

i had to re trq down the head cover bolts under that area after i swaped it out for a high polished cover... there was oil there too for me but was fixed after i trq'd down the cover bolts

befor i got my balt, i had this problem with my old saturn. i changed the valve cover gasket n after tht i had no more oil!
