GM stage 3 does affect cruise control (a little). You can only engage cruise control at 35 mph or higher with GM Stage 3 (you could do it at lower speeds with non stage 3). You can't cancel cruise control with gentle touch of the clutch pedal on GM Stage 3 (but you can on non stage 3). But, who really uses cruise control below 35 mph anyway.

Hmm, I always thought that's how it was stock as well. I never tested it, and wouldn't think a tune would affect the cruise control of a car.

I'm pretty sure GM claims you can't engage cruise control below 40mph in my manual. I'll have to check.

I never worry about that though, because like you said, who uses cruise at that low of a speed.

I would never think to disengage cruise control with the clutch pedal.... I either use the button on the steering wheel, or brake if I have to.

75 shot on a stock 2.2 is all good. had my rpm switch set for 2700rpm as the tq stall on the auto is 2500rpm. made for some really tight launches at the track.

Well I was talking to James(ccss3) and he told me that I shouldnt push my car to much with its mileage when i asked him about meth setup, so i figured nos was just as hard on the engine. Im running the gm stage 2 with a custom tune and some bolt ons but I want more power so we talked and im gonna drop down to a 2.8 with 60s. but i still wanna get a lil more power out of it, I figured a 35 or 50 with get me where I want a lil over 300hp. First thing I got to do is get a compression test tho make sure everything is healthy tho.

a compression test wont tell you **** you need to do a leak down and if you thing your gonna hit 300 whp on a 2.8 and meth then you need to get out of lala land and step into the real world if the engine is setup correctly with a tune a 50 shot wont hurt **** ask ebristol how many miles are on his and not to mention i know a guy with 140k on the clock and they leaked his engine it leaked 5% they just switched it to e and a 2.8 and he beats the **** out of it

if meth is hard on stuff, i wonder how my meth/nitrous set up will be hahaha, jk. meths isnt hard on the engine, actually very benificial its helps keep you from pre detonation and cooler temps.

the only way to fix the weak spot is to do what zzp did but do it without cylinder distorting
