Ain't that the truth lol. I lost my passport a couple years ago after a crazy time in Vegas and got sent to the nearest Canadian Consulate which was in SanFrancisco.

When your living in a place where e85 is not an option the choice to switch to turbo is pretty easy. I did enough with the TVS to say its had its day on my car.

Heard that. Wish I had more luck with mine. My only highlights were running a 12.8@112 and keeping up with the infamous Infraredline lol.

It wasn't very good. I had a set of 255/60-16 MT drag radials. Crazy heavy and tall. That 12.8 was still only with a 2.0 60ft.

Not yet, already have the turbo setup sitting in my shop. Waiting on block to get back from machine shop. After running a 2.5 pulley for two years I figured if I'm going to build the engine I might as well take the "easy way out" and go turbo. I can run a small 252et turbo and get numbers I could only dream of on the TVS on pump gas.

This is one spot I'm going to disagree with you on. A friend of mine has a family shop that builds dragsters, runs a 5.6 in the quarter 26x something. Old setup was with a blower and was at about 3800 HP new motor with twin turbo's is making over 4k

Front mount prochargers and turbos are dominating the 1/4 competition for the mustang crowd currently

I know a guy with a nova making 1700wheel on his dart big block dual f2 prochargers

S/C really only wins for nhra since thats all they run their 8000 hp engines on

The only reason top fuel runs blowers is because their runs are short that can't afford a millisecond of spool.
Nothin beats the instant power of a blower (except maybe spray). But they'd have to pull a trailer just to hold a big enough bottle lol

I thought the reason top fuel cannot run turbo it's because to much debris flies out the exhaust during a run.
