I Went To The Dark Side With A Gen 3 Motor

One thing tht always makes me laugh is when people take off te fresh air hose, plug the intake, and pop a clamp on mini filter and say it'll keep from popping the dipstick.
Not picking on you blue. Yours is good for now. I'm mainly talking about the thousands of noob posts.
The fresh air inlet has a restrictor inside that is smaller than the FAI hose. So, you can put a filter the size of Texas on it if you want; it will still be worse than stock albeit by a tiny amount.
The intake tube is a minute vac source at wot, which very slightly helps blowby out of that restricted hole.
Long story short, if you have enough blowby to pop the dipstick, you either have a bad check valve or your rings are fried.
Anyway, everything looks great. Nice and clean. When you're ready I will get you hooked up no prob.

Thanks guys! Ya I get what you're sayin arm. After reading what you sent me a few times the stock system really is tough to beat other than it being restrictive. Your set up would be the next best thing. And it's pretty easy to change if needed so I'll just play it by ear.

I'm curious to hear how this car runs once it's done. I still have that turbo itch and I have a couple cars to flip in the spring plus taxes. The decision on the turbo is what is holding me up. Love the look of the valve cover. I'm debating on something similar to tame the itch for power for a few more months.

I headed down to Merica today to pick up my new wheels and tires. I really throught that for the price of these wheels new that the paint quality would be better. There are a couple chips which are to be expected and you can chip the paint off more with your fingernail. Ah well I'm plasti dipping them anyways.
