ok so last night we installed ott stage two and it all went well but when i got in to try and do the security relearn instead of the theft light coming on nothing came on and the car started right up like normal and so we drove it and it drove perfect no cel nothing accept i didnt really feel much difference in pull but thats just me my friend said it pulled alot harder i boost at 18psi (i need a header and dp) so what the hell is going on why did my car not need a case relearn or security relearn did my car have an aftermarket pcm or what

You don't need a case relearn unless you swap PCMs. You don't need a Security relearn unless your car locks you out. Installing a stage 2 kit shouldn't trigger either of these if you didn't swap PCMs. (if you did, get a case relearn)

i did swap pcms ott sent me one and when u swap pcms u need a security and case relearn but i didnt my car runs totally fine no cel nothing i dont get that

Same thing happened to my friend a few years ago. We both did the zzp stage 2 and i needed a relearn and his cel never came on for one

every once in a while you can swap pcms and not need a crank angle relearn its the same thing as swapping engines sometimes u need it sometimes u dont

Yeah I think sometimes you get lucky.

And I dint think he has a clogged cat, on stock exhaust your boost will be considerably higher than with an aftermarket setup

yeah ur right i just have resonator delete and a magnaflow muffler right now i need a header and downpipe and i will be rockin lol thats really funny that i got lucky thats usually not what happens to me lol

You didn't notice a diffrence in pull after putting on the OTTP stage 2? I put mine on 2 weeks ago and noticed a huge diffrence

not really pry cause i was driving idk i always think my cars are way slower than they are pry race an eclipse or mustang gt tonight and find out if it did make a difference
