Important info for the 2.8 and smaller users!!

I've found that when using a 2.8" or smaller pulley and 5K miles or more on the car, there could be some belt slippage. I have a CHEAP and very good fix for it so pm me or call me for details.

Yeah dude I would say post it. If it is the AC belt deal than that has already been posted. Why would someone waste a LD call when it can be posted or PM'D ?

Well is it something that your selling? if it is an idea that we can go out and get I don't think there is a reason that you would need to be a sponsor

In working with Rob (Fast06SS) of Hoosier Performance we have come up with a short term solution to taking up the belt slack caused by running smaller supercharger pulleys. Ultimately a smaller belt is the correct solution however it may be awhile until one is found and they will probably be pretty expensive. This may be a cheaper alternative. Starting 2/26/06 INTENSE will begin shipping 3" supercharger tensioner pulleys.

The stock tensioner pulley is 2.5" and because of this the supercharger tensioner bracket will need to be clearanced a bit to make the oversized pulley fit. This is very easy to do requiring a T40 and T45 bit, a few minutes of time and shot of spraypaint.

Click the picture for the link to the pulley and pricing will be $19.99.

Thumbs up

Thanks Todd,

I just ordered that pully from you a few minutes ago. If you need that program I mentioned on the phone, I can probably send that to you. Only thing is I don't have access to the OBD2 cable required to calibrate from in the car. I'm working on getting one of those for myself to do some tunning.

Thanks Todd,
And to reiterate, this is an easy 20-30 min job to install. If you are unsure, i will do it for you at my shop or via mail it to me and i'll send it back the same day. Call me if you have any questions.

Rob

What exactly needs to be spray painted? Also, what do you need to grind down to get this to fit? Thanks

You have to grind down the tensioner pully bracket so the bigger idler pully can spin freely. Its easy took me 10 min using a dremel tool. I didn't paint mine, but you can if you want to. The pully covers what you grind anyway.
