i recently installed the ingals torque dampener and was wondering how tight the middle part should be, as it sits now i can spin the middle section around with some effort. also i did not notice much of an performance gain with this product my wheels still hop of hard launchs, maybe its not tight enough?

defently not tight enough, you should only be able to spin the bolts with a wrench and if its at the right tightness, you should have no wheel hop. I bought mine used from my friend who had a cobalt so i just left the setting alone and installed it. After installing i tried and tried to get wheel hop and it doesnt, tires just spin freely. But yea try tighting it.

so ur saying tighten that bronze colored bolt on teh cylinder?

I dont know what bronze bolt you are talking about, but on mine I can't move it at all with my hands

mine is silver, but yes the one that is closest to the dampener itself, not the ones on the brackets

i tightened mine i get very very lil wheel hop hops like 2 times than hooks up
