Injector Questions... (noob)
Hey Guys.
Right up front; I'm a noob, and I'm sorry for such basic questions.
I have a kit-car that has a 2.0L Ecotec engine, supercharged with an Eaton supercharger.
It has a Stage-2 ECU, and a 3" pully.
The manufacturer has recommended that I change out the injectors with Siemens 45lb injectors, and are in in the process of re-programming my ECU.
(No, I don't know what injectors are in there now.)
However, several of my friends have said that I should consider putting in larger injectors, and have my ECU custom-tuned.
First question.
Where can I buy Siemens injectors for the 2.0L Ecotec?
Second question - anyone in SoCal (818) know of a good tuning shop.
Third question - I'm gonna buy a new/pulled ECU so that I can go back to factory easily (the factory ECU is locked.) - where can I buy a cheap ECU?
Thanks.
Nick.

he has an ariel atom...as do I, what he's trying to figure out, is everywhere he looks, there's no such thing as 45lb injectors....HOWEVER, the manufacturer sent us new injectors, pulley and tune, as an "update" to the car, and on the build sheet, it states the injectors are 45lb /hr, BUT, Nick is having a tough time getting these injectors from them due to things out of his control, so he's looking for another way to replace the injectors.
Have you guys seen anyone actually using 45lb/hr injectors, or do they all go from 42.5lb/hr to 60lb/hr?
as for the ECU I got mine from Sharp Auto....just the first place I called really
Sharp Auto Parts - 1-800-737-9503 found the part on car-part.com...$77 plus $15 shipping, not a bad deal you just need to make sure it came out of a 2006 cobalt ss supercharged and has the service number of 12597520.

Thanks once again to Silver, for explaining things so clearly...
So yes, I can find 42lb and 60lb injectors, but the manufacturer tells me I need 45lb.
I'm probably going to end up going to 60lb injectors, a new ECU, and finding a local tuning shop.
Now, I just need to find a tuning shop in 818 area code (the valley.)
Thanks everyone.
Nick.

Siemens 46lb injectors however I'm fairly certain those are heptane ratings. They have the EV6 connector that LSJ Cobalts/Ions have stock.
