that's gonna be a good tool for all the 2.2L cobalts out there, cause they have CAN on them... 2.0L appearently doesn't though, and not sure about the 2.4L

The LSJ is CAN and Class 2 depending on what your interfacing with. The ODB2 port has the Class 2 and CAN pins...
The PCM in the LSJ is Class 2 for the diagnostic parts that we normally would interface with. The BCM and Radio and XM as all CAN or GMLAN.

Well I can tell you that I have used two Class 2 devices that both interfaced with the PCM and read codes, engine variables, ect. So I don't have any reason to believe it wouldn't work.
And if modern is selling it I am would put 100% faith that they wouldn't sell me something that wouldn't work just to make a quick buck.

Thats cool but why dont you get an interceptor gauge that you can use like that 24/7 and can get 200 times for info and dont need to hook that ugly box up to your car.

im a tech and wanted a portable scan tool for me
this was the one i was planning on getting until i saw this post but i agree that will work
want a scan gauge too but this works for lots of cars
? about aeroforce
i need to see a bunch of pics
plus i like the stock gauge if i got the scangauge i would use it W/ the stock autometer perhaps on the dash in a cup
