Installing Euthanasia Ported & Built Head. TONS OF PICS

I agree it wasn't perfect, but still very impressive.
The boost difference pre/post laminova caught my interest the most. Magically fitting a massive bar/plate core I to an IM may result in higher flow but at the cost of cooling.

say what?
and here I take flak on here about how I am wrong for not embracing them? Me who installed them with the right head, the right header the right tune, TVS, got 323 whp on pump gas, made customer deliriously happy and said "I am so happy customer likes them but for me they are a non starter,
built in traction control no torque? Maybe good for 1320""
wow. this is a turn of events.
lol
actually their cost is modest for what they are, and they dialed in 100% ZZP did their homework.

its not a turn of events they are good cams but not what I want
And this is why I told Mr.B to post his proof that stage 2 cams are worth it, he expects everyone to just take his word but we have other people on this forum with a much bigger background in ecotecs saying they not worth it, i wanna see some before and after dyno sheets. Till then im not even wasting money on something that only half the people seem to like and no one has any proof they are worth the upgrade.
the cams are worth it the car drives like its stock you get a gain everywhere in power plug and play and I think the stg1 or 2 cams would work well on a road course you can have all that for a fair price I liked the stg2 cams I just want more mid to top
I don't need to post proof it has already been done and there is not other people on this forum (just 1 person) saying the cams aren't worth it

You can feel the additional power throughout the rpm band for sure. Very nice upper rpm power, and no "noticeable" low end power loss. My car idles great (with a mild lope to the exhaust), and I still get great gas mileage.
All my parameters check out great to, no knock anywhere, fuel trims in check, etc.
I'm going to dyno my car either this month or in the fall. All depends where I am with everything else I have going on in my life.... I plan on testing the difference between 93 octane mode & high octane mode.
Since my last dyno was done a few years back, and at a different dyno (no longer in business), I can not use it as an accurate comparrison between stock cams vs. S1 cams, but it will be nice just to see where I'm at now.

Back from the grave...
In case anyone missed the dyno, here you go. This is w/ATI Damper and the 2.7" ring installed.
https://www.cobaltss.net/forums/dyno...309whp-304551/
Best time so far at the track is 13.2 @ 111mph on street tires, 2.2 60ft.
Slicks are sitting in my garage for next season.
TVS on deck and waiting to be installed.
Let's see how far I can push this stock block now. I have an itch for more displacement if it ever was to fail.

Nice times. Back on stock head and stock cams I went 13.6 @109.7 on a 2.7 on street tires with a 2.25 60' for comparison. I'm tempted to run my stock blower car at the track once this year. Thinking I'll take my turbo one to the nice track that is farther away, and then when a big group of us go to the closer track I'll drive the stock blower one with slicks, with Euth head and S2 cams, just no ATI.

Nice! You gotta run it just for some giggles.

What benefits are there to having the ATI pulley? I'm going to research but what does it help with?
I would love to hit a 12.8 on my M62 and before I have people saying that I won't hit that time, I disagree. I have will have the power level for what it takes and there's nothing a little bit of race fuel can't fix. Hatrickstu went 12.75 with MUCH less work done than me, he was using race fuel though.
My tuner went 13.0 @ 111 MPH on Drag radials (2.095 60')with a fully bolted car and methanol injection. Kind of where I'm basing mine from.
Sorry for the rant. You both have some of the most respectable cars on this site. There aren't many cars I look up to on this site but these are two of the few I do like.

Was this on 91 Octane? I assume that's fully bolted with cooling mods. Most likely with methanol injection? I'm frustrated with my times that I have been hitting. I'm finally going with a set of slicks if I can afford to purchase a set this year.

The ATI effectively drops a pulley size due to its larger diameter on SC cars, but more importantly it dampens and "balances" the rotating assembly. More so does a good job at eliminating vibrations that like to rattle things apart in the high rpm's. I have never ran one yet, but I have one on my 2.1 in my red car.

Driver and traction. I've had days at my track back on the 2.9 TVS with ported head where I couldn't break below a 13.0. No matter what I couldn't cut better than a 2.2 60 and roast the tires off through 2nd even on the slicks. My track also rarely has any prep, got lucky the time I ran my 12.2 since it happened to be the weekend after their drag finals.
That's why I think I'll run at proving grounds at BIR this year on the turbo setup. That is a great track. 5-6 hours away though.

For some reason (and I never had this problem with any other car) I have trouble with 2-3. Seems like half the time I hit a wall between 1-3. And of course it usually happens when racing lol
