Thumbs up Intense Suspension Pkg!

During my five week dilemma with the clutch ordeal I ordered the Intense suspension pkg. While the shop had the tranny out of my car I had them install it for me. The package includes: JBP CAB's and transaxle bushings.

My first impressions are, I got the car back today, started the car up MUCH increased vibrations, which is to be expected, and resonance into the cabin.

At take off the car vibrates like a race car then smooths out upwards of the 2000rpm mark. The dash vibrates during idle and so does the sunroof.

Accelerating out onto a road the engine is loud but sounds kinda nice.

At highway speeds the engine is MUCH louder and the vibration is minimal but it definitly apparent, but not horrible!

I'm sure after a couple hundred the bushing's will soften up some. I had the transaxle bushing's in my ecotec sunfire and it was the same.

With this pkg you can definitly feel that the shifts are much more direct and precise. And the handling is much tighter now!

I DO NOT recommend this pkg to ppl who like a smooth and quiet ride and it could come quite annoying to some

I DO recommend this pkg to ppl who don't mind there car vibrating into a harsh untamable animal! And who want firmer shifts and a tighter suspension. (it is definitly worth it)

My girl hates it so far but i'm not removing them.

**I did not test wheelhop**

Hope this helps some!

I was definately thrown off by the increased vibration and noise, expected it, but not that much. I've got CAB's, motor and front tranny mounts, though. Finally took the front tranny mount off and it felt smooth as stock, don't think the CAB's really added any vibration. But there is a definate difference in shifts with and without, so after a couple weeks, I threw the tranny mount back on again. After a few more weeks, the vibration has gotten tolerable. Whether the mounts softened up or I got used to it, I'm not sure, a little of both most likely. I'd still probably make the same purchase again knowing what I know now, though.
