Interchangeable Exhaust
Can all the exhaust's on all the models of cobalt's be interchanged with each other?
O.K. let me put it like this,i know a 2.0 will fit on a 2.2 but will a 2.2 exhaust fit on a 2.0?

Ok.
When you say "exhaust" what do you mean? Saying exhaust doesn't point out what part of it you mean or do you mean the actual whole exhaust system (manifold, b-pipe, catalytic converter, cat-back piping & muffler)?

the piping and exhuast hangers are all the pretty much the same except at the muffler. the ls exhausts mount much higher as the factory bumper on an ls is higher off the ground. and the ss/sc will mount much lower to compensate for the lower lip. this would not pose much of a problem for someone mildly mechanically inclined, although most exhausts for the ls are 2.25in where as the factory exhaust on an ss/sc is primarily 2.5in so it would kinda be a downgrade. although the higher flow muffler would compensate for some of the overall diameter loss in flow. so it could be installed but the gains would be minimal and it might just sound like crap.
