JBP only for sound not for power. Many many many other shorty headers that are much better!

The jbp I had while it came off of a running vehicle it did not clear my coolant crossover pipe and caused a coolant leak once it was finally snugged down. And btw that header is THE MOST DIFFICULT HEADER to install on these cars!!!! On an auto it was way too much work to get it to fit!!

Ok, thanks for all the advice. I just ordered the BM header for 180 shipped here to Toronto! Not too bad at all, but 2 questions. Do they need to be wrapped? Also how aggressive will the car sound with these hooked up to cobalt addiction XTC downpipe w hi flow and a magnaflow cb? Will this set up make decent power? I also have the k&n typhoon cai.

So I just purchased the BM headers, and whoever said they ship fast wasn't kidding! I purchased early today and now got an email saying it's been processed through USPS! Wow, I wish everyone shipped that quick! Now, will I notice more power up high? I also wanted to know if driving with my dp will cause me probs till I get a tune and dyno since my check engine light stays on?

If you got a catted downpipe theres a chance your check engine light wont come on. But it might. You will be able to drive it without a tune but it would be best to get a tune. As far as sound it will sound more aggressive than it would with the downpipe and catback. But not drastically. As far as wrap I dont know id badmab recommends it or not. Some headers can and some cant. You will feel a small gain. But most of the gain will be from the header and downpipe working together. And on my 2.4 I felt a bit more power uptop with just the header on even with the factory downpipe.

Ok so I'm not doing any damage to my motor running like that with my check engine light? When I had the code checked, it said something about catalytic threshold ??? Can't remember, but I failed my emissions bad with it! Lol . The guy said it looked like there was no cat from the numbers produced, so I guess it's hi flow alright! Lol

i ran catless without a tune for a year. it will cause no problems. all you want to do is header anyways right?? my badmab threw p0133 and p1133. but that could also be coolant leaked all over my o2 sensor wiring when i changed my tstat. i have no clue though and honestly dont care

If I can figure out how to post pics here, I'll post different angle pics from underneath and engine bay so people can see how it looks and hooks up. Btw I'm catted and still throw a code cause of the cat? I probably just need a tune.
