If you have any amount of white smoke coming from the exhaust, and it smells horrid yours is starting to get. Also, you'll know by having to refill the coolant often like I did just before it blew!

Just saw your second post, it's definately blown! Tell the dealership to fix that **** and quickly! Coolant in the piston area = cracked pistons = new engine. Tell them they need to replace it before they have to replace the whole damn engine!

I tried once...they told me everything is fine...i know it isnt cause i can do my own job...but i bought a new car so i wouldnt have to worry about this ****...looks like that isnt the case...i am looking for a better dealership service dept to take it to so that they will fix it...i was without my car from wed 9-27 to tues 10-3 without my car and without a rental...now when i take my car back i am not leaving until they give me one...i am starting to think that alot of the service guys in my area dont know what they are doing...OR...they are only fixing what they are told.

Damn. I'm glad I didn't buy an SS/SC as well...

I think I'm staying n/a from now on till I get a side project car then I'll boost it. Boosting a new car just seems like too much of a hassle.

bdwarr6, that is horrible man. I bet the coolant entering the combustion chamber cracked a piston and fried the engine. I hope for your benefit it gets fixed, but I have a funny feeling this is their way out. I have been there before, and luck aired on my side. Have them show you in person the exact reason why the engine is gone just to make sure they are not trying to pull a fast one. Keep us posted, and good luck.

Funny part is

When i origonaly owned the car i modded it with intense stage 3 it was sold to the dealership this way, they never removed it. I bought it back with intense stage 3 on it, so technicaly I havent changed **** since I bought it.

They have two options cover it or call the police to get me out of the dealership its that simple

If the car came with the mods on it and they said it was covered under warranty, it's their fault then and have to fix it. That will hold up in court for sure.
