besides what y'all said you noticed in terms of difference between 5w and 0w what are the real differences? is it really worth it? oil change needs to be done soon and Mobile 1 5w-30 is whats in there now.

I've been using the Mobil 1 0-30 oil for 2 oil changes now!
The mobil 0w oil meets all GM and all manufacturers specs and warranty specs....
0w oil causes less drag on the moving engine components... meaning better gas milage, and less wear. Along with more power!

The 0w is the weight of it when cold. meaning @ cold temps the 0w30 would be easier to start than a 5w or 10w.
once up to normal temps the 30 is the visocity of the oil (ie 0w30, 5w30, 10w30)

ok.. i dont know a thing im talkin bout.... just use 0 weight oil all the time...
with 0 weight the oil wont stick to the bearings as well as say 5-10weight..... u may have kless drag but u also will have more bearing failures.....
but then again i mean i use 10w 30 or 10w 40 in all my race motors and so far never had an issue.....

If where you live doesnt get cold enough for 0w or 5w, Id just stick to 10w.
