You wanna see what happens with a 2.7 and 42's?

There's no way around it, the injector isn't enough for the 2.7" but unless this shop is willing to say they will rebuild your engine if it blows after they tune it then I would go with 60lbers.
Heres what happened to my engine over a year and a half ago.

When Matt tuned my car he said i didn't need the 60lb injectors, and he knows what hes doing so i think he will be fine. I deff wanna see your numbers you put down and see how they compare to what i made with your smaller injectors

Somone can be a good tuner but there is no way around the fact that 42lbs are too small for a 2.7 but Id like to see Matt's "theory" on this

Well when i went up there a few months ago he said i was around the 50th cobalt they have worked on, so they have got some experience with the car, I saw some sweet cars they were working on when i was there including another ss, and supercharged RSX, turboed WS6, camed C5 Z06, and matt's turboed TBSS. They know what they are doing

Well, even if he has worked on 50+ cobalts, there is no way around this ^. Thats the whole point everyone is trying to make in addition to the duty cycles being threw the roof.

from what i understand they can't tune the 60s right. i spoke with a guy at a car show i went to in md who was running a portable dyno and he has done some work with matt and just from listening to what he was saying to me it sounds like they just can't tune the 60s right.

lol.

im sorry, no offence, but the fact that they cant tune 60s doesnt instill much confidence in him being able to work a miracle and make 42lb injectors work with a 2.7 pully.

I wish you all the best of luck, because i see blown motors in your future.

u guys are wasting money on s/c pulleys. just find a new belt and put it directly on the blower shaft. waay more boost that way. my idc was a bit over 100% on stock injectors tho. if u upgrade to 42#s you can run 30psi on the stock blower

kthxby

well if you haven't had any problems then i might go up there and get dyno tuned once i add some cooling mods. i'm good with my ron tune, we are actually going to retune it now that i have the a/f numbers. i really need to buy a wideband, if anyone has one or knows someone selling one let me know.
