Just got my car back together.. p0017
So I just swapped a used bottom end in to my 2006 LSJ. Started it up and it's running rough. Idle is bouncing from ~800rpm to ~2000rpm. Some backfiring as well. It's throwing a p0017 code which is cam/crank correlation. When I timed it I made sure it was lined up, and cranked it over by hand until the marks lined back up again, I'm almost positive it's still in time. I had the cam sensor off, is there a chance that I put the cam sensor in wrong? How do I know the sensor is lined up properly?

get cylinder 4 in TDC and then put the cam positioning sensor out and look on the outside edge of it there is a little line/bump on it. you have to line up the two lines up to reset it

Well got it straightened out. Took it for a drive and now it's throwing a ton of codes and going into reduced engine power.
System too lean
Tb-maf correlation
p1182
and another one that i can't remember.. WTF IS GOING ON!?

So we drove it in the garage to do a smoke test and it threw another p0017 So I pulled the valve cover and timing case off and rolled the engine over for what seemed like an eternity and was surprised to find the engine still in time, WTF? I just drove home and pulled the crank sensor out of my old block and I'm just about to go change crank sensors.
So cam sensor is in time, engine is in time, it's about to have a known working crank sensor installed... If it throws the code again what do I do? Case relearn?

Cranks forever before it starts and I've gotta give it throttle to get it running. Every once in awhile it'll back fire when I try to start it the first time. Hitches and bucks going down the road, goes in to limp mode every time it sees any boost.
