just my luck....
I have an 07 ss/sc, and I put an injen cai on about 500 miles ago. Everything was all sweet and perfect, except for today when my CEL came on as I was driving on the highway. WTF.... Car runs fine with no hesitation, and the idle is normal.

Thats very common, no worries. It may come on and off a bit but it shouldnt be anything to worry about. I believe the code will say Lean Bank 2.
Also, this is the wrong section.

Yep. It sure will. You are just running lean because your MAF readings are off by a bit. It's not a big deal, just annoying. But you could get it tuned out, that's the only fix aside from putting your stock box back on.

ok, I just went to pick up some dinner, and my CEL went off on its own. WTF. THe code should still be in the memory though, right? Why would a CEL turn on for about 10 miles (turn off my car for 2 hours), start it back up, and the light turns off when the car gets to operating temp?

you've been on this site for a while now. you should know by now that a cel from an intake is not a big deal, and if the car is driving fine there's nothing to worry about. it's p0171 and is not a big deal. make sure everything is tight, and then it's safe to delete the code.
don't take this the wrong way, but i find it ironic that someone else has a question, and your reponse is "use the search buttong". but, then within only a few minutes of that post you ask this question, which is by far one of the most talked about topics in ss.net history.

I always laugh when someone says use the search button. I've said it once, which was about 15 mins ago. The funny thing was I just saw your post about the CELs about 2 hours ago, and I should of PM you when I saw it. I know about the CELs, but the going on and off without clearing it is kind of ironic.
