IDK, one of my buddys simply noticed my MAP sensor and thought it was only a 1.5 or 2 bar and that those only read up to 15psi, then your pcm doesn't know what to do to compensate above that, which makes people go lean up top. which may be what hockeymans problem was up top with his 305 pull. he started going lean so they shut it down at 7500 revs

Get the car together and running, and go from there.

You might not make 17 psi with a ported head and full exhaust.

LSJ stock 2.5 bar map shouldnt need to be changed for your build.

A TVS set can make mid 20's on the stock sensor. I don't see it being an issue.

guess we'll find out. i'll keep the sensor handy just in case, considering i'm gonna be running essentially a 2.6" pulley...

I saw 19 psi on my M62 2.6" on a stock motor. You'll be fine.

the turbo guys run 3 bars! i thought yes it would due to tuning capabilities

so catch can wise, i did some more research blablabla yeah due to idling and stuff it wouldn't work very well for a street car. so i guess i'm gonna do just a simple catch can that still feeds into the intake tube.

The ECU in the LSJ can not read or compensate any more than the 2.5 bar can read, so a 3 bar will do absolutely nothing more than the 2.5 bar. I'll be on the stock MAP sensor on my turbo setup at 30+ lbs. Do not overcomplicate the setup, I have pretty much your exact setup on my gray car, and ran it with the TVS for years.

After much reading I agree here. No need to spend money where money doesn't need to be spent Adam.
