Thanks ss 16, im hoping to rev it higher when im not maxxed out on my injectors anymore. A tvs would help me reach higher rpms safer too i suppose

That's because your tune pulls timing at those temps for safety. I have experimented with intake temps on my car, and my highest dyno ever had an ending iat2 of 174*
I ran it up to 212 on the street with no loss in power or kr. E85 is pretty crazy

When I was on the dyno I did 2 back to back pulls on the TVS at a dyno event and I lost 5whp and 5wtq on the 2nd pull, both 3rd gear. I don't know what the IAT's were, probably in the 170-185* range during the 2nd one, but I didn't have it setup to pull any timing strictly for the dyno. Unless they happened to get over 200* then it would have pulled a bit, but I hadn't ever seen them get that high. Its a minimal drop in power though.

Did you check the shifter linkages under the shifter and the ones on top of the trans? That has happened to me before.

Rather, the shifter would go into the gears, but when i let off on the clutch there was no movement. So could that mean rollpin?

You'll know when you see a popped off linkage or a shattered roll pin. Have someone push it into gear and see if the levers on the trans are moving.

So then shouldn't be the TOB. It should take you about 2-3 minutes to see whats going on down there with the linkage/roll pin.

hmm just found this...
http://www.ebay.com/itm/10812-GM-Ecotec-billet-WaterNeck-block-thermostat-2-0L-2-2L-2-4L-L61-LE5-LSJ-LNF-/290619718518?pt=Motors_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories&hash=item43aa48fb76&vxp=mtr
we were thinking about trying to delete that big heater box on the drivers side of the block above the trans, would this be a means of doing so? any gains to be had here? lol
