And heres the new ottp trans mount!

Heres a pic comparing the two, side by side. The stock one is brand new as well. The second and third pics show how much i can bend either with my bare hand. Ott is a big difference...

Ps is anyone familiar with where the ground wire for the starter goes, as well as the other engine/trans ground wires? I think one goes like behind where the ocm mounts and another goes kinda by the drivers headlight but im hardpressed to remember where.

Also got a red 2 prong plug at the top rear of the valve cover that as of now i have no clue where it came from and there isnt much wire to out it anywhere... lol

Those grounds go to the stud bolt that is trans to engine.

That plug goes directly into the back left top corner of the fuse box.

When you pull the harnesses under the fusebox, do the fuses stay in the black top cover? Ive seen all the how to's on the fusebox, but no one mentions that. So if I pull the harnesses off the bottom of the fusebox, the fuses stay planted In the black cover?

No. Go buy one.

The trans was in the way of it sliding out, so i had to unbolt the upper engine mount and jack that side up to lower the trans. Sketchy haha. but its on the way to josh tomorrow

it was my first time pulling the fusebox, so that was interesting.

I pulled the a/c condenser as well, and all the lines while I was dicking around trying to get the mount out. For those that fully detete the a/c, how do you block off the port at the firewall? I was just going to cut the lines off, cap them, and then bolt them back in. is this pretty standard? I dont plan on reversing obviously haha

Also, I plan on pulling the wires for the compressor clutch and the sensor on the line. Will a code be thrown if the ac sensor doesnt see pressure? Is it a display code like "service airbag", or is it a cel?

Now I just need to drain the coolant so I can get the head pulled and see how bad I blew this turd up haha

Well i just pulled my broken condenser out and undid the lines. There's still a hard line running from the firewall towards the drivers headlight i just let it hang there. Never plugged anything; if i ever want ac again i know i have a long journey ahead of me because im sure the lines are all full of dust now. So unless you are sure about never going back to having a.c., plug it up nicely with something.

Oh yeah and working around the fusebox deals fuggin blows. Lol

did you throw a code with no pressure in the lines? Im not sure if its to sense that there is pressure (and read a "service a/c" if not), or to shutoff the compressor if there is too much pressure. The latter would be optimal, but i'm not sure
