Did you pull the cam sensor out at all? You have the symptoms of a incorrectly timed cam position sensor or possibly unplugged. Even needing a CASE relearn should still start normal, just should throw a code. At least mine always did.
When I did my clutch I had a little hanging noise for a few times of driving, like a very slight scraping noise, and it went away.

Oh good to know.
No i did not touch the cam sensor during all of this.
All im thinking is how i rotated the flywheel around a bit while installing, then tried to start a few times with the crank sensor unplugged.
I will look into it... i remember last year we had toubles setting the cam sensor the right way and getting the motor to tdc

I have detailed instructions and photos of how everything should look while at TDC.

Sure thing. Just so i know im safe cruising... the codes dont reset while driving so i figured its fine. I do hate the long starts though.
That said i feel blessed that i got her driving and besides that, problem free thus far! Considering no step of the way there went planned, to be there in one piece now feels amazing.
I fking love my car everyone. Feels great to drive again.
