Did you pull the cam sensor out at all? You have the symptoms of a incorrectly timed cam position sensor or possibly unplugged. Even needing a CASE relearn should still start normal, just should throw a code. At least mine always did.

When I did my clutch I had a little hanging noise for a few times of driving, like a very slight scraping noise, and it went away.

Oh good to know.

No i did not touch the cam sensor during all of this.

All im thinking is how i rotated the flywheel around a bit while installing, then tried to start a few times with the crank sensor unplugged.

I will look into it... i remember last year we had toubles setting the cam sensor the right way and getting the motor to tdc

The CASE relearn does not work for our cars using the interceptor gauge.

If you are are having trouble with timing the cam sensor correctly, please see my thread.

I have detailed instructions and photos of how everything should look while at TDC.

I do not believe so.

It's a proceedure they perform, similar to what you have to do on the interceptor.

Shouldnt reflash anything. Call up a local dealer and varify though.

It's not going to hurt anything. I would still get it rectified though.

Sure thing. Just so i know im safe cruising... the codes dont reset while driving so i figured its fine. I do hate the long starts though.

That said i feel blessed that i got her driving and besides that, problem free thus far! Considering no step of the way there went planned, to be there in one piece now feels amazing.

I fking love my car everyone. Feels great to drive again.

Do you have HPT? You can do it in the vcm scanner under the tools section. There is a certain sequence you need to follow on startup.

What is TRULY required to perform a CASE relearn?

Well, did my 1st WOT pull today...

Felt strong but it reminded me really quick, my car likes to misfire/stutter once in a while at wot, usually high rpm 3rd gear.
