mhmm, much as i hate to do it (the stuff IS quite heavy lol), the rattles back there are just unreasonable; i'm at least going to put some over the exhaust area of the trunk, try to improvise with lighter materials where possible. but yeah... it was bad with backseats and a trunk mat, it's awful when it's all open there haha

I've been having sound deadening nightmares for months
A word from the wise: If you are going to do it, spend the money and get a butyl/rubber based mat, and not a tar/asphalt based mat like Fatmat. My entire car minus the firewall and roof was/is done it fatmat. I havent had the melting issues or anything, but good luck if you ever want to remove it. The stuff that has only been on for a year or two came off fairly "easily", but the rest.....

You guys with your weight reduction make me LOL. Worrying about lining in a car and sound proofing, comfort > slight performance upgrade. Considering in a 1/4 mile, you will notice little to no change at all.

Well, my blazer has been becoming mor. and more of a complete pile on me. No a/c, wheel bearings, huge exhaust leak, brakes, body rust, window motors...
I decided i had enough and it wasnt worth keeping and throwing time.and money at.
So today i got an 06 tacoma xrunner! Really.never noticed these trucks before but once i saw this one the other day i actually liked it. Front end looks kinda goofy but whatever. V6, 230ish hp/275ftlbs, 90000 miles, drives like brand new. Came with the bed cover, intake and exhaust.
Oh and its a 6 speed so hellz yeah! I think im happy with it.
