ok guys do this! test for fuel contamination. Small amounts of water can be delivered to the fuel injectors and cause a lean exhaust indication. A lean exhaust indication can also be caused by too much alcohol in the fuel. The system will go lean if an injector is not supplying enough fuel. A lean condition could be present during high fuel demand due to a fuel pump that does not pump enough fuel, a plugged fuel filter, or a restricted fuel pipe.

haha nope im not pissed .... i actually have been laughing at you the whole time .... the only person im pissed at is myself for wasting my time on a lil teenager .... i have this thing about respect and can't stand when little young guys (like yourself) talk back to people and show little respect. that is something i will have to get over though, because this site is full of kids just like you ....

the codes are triggered from fuel trims the maf is trying to attain. not the over all air fuel ratio. it would be nice to see people search for codes

can you explain this in a little more depth? are you saying that it is strictly a problem with the maf and not anything else? like not injectors, fuel filter, too much air in general?
