lfp dual pass h/e
#26
I just looked on Fluidyne's website, jesus god that thing is huge. If that fits then the LFP one will, but I dont think its much of a fitment problem i know it will fit, the problem is that the H/E would be hanging to low to the road because it is so tall or at least thats what Gregg from Bwoody said.

Does anyone know the specs on the CA H/E?? I'll probly go with the LFP but I just want to get more information before I make my purchase. Plus i have to wait for my moneyto be re-deposited back into my account.

Well i just talked Mark from LFp and he is willing to let me test fit a LFP DP H/E on my car. Ive been emailing him for the past couple days and here is what he wrote to me today.
"I had a Cobalt customer who was going to help with this but he disappeared. It may have even been the guy on the forum. After sending the HE for fitment I never could get him to return my phone calls. The LFP Extreme performance heat exchanger IS 6" tall. I believe it fits. I have never installed one but would be willing to work with you if possible. LFP can bring a lot of great product to your community I simply need. Anything you help with is free to you for your input and help. The Redline guy also never got back to me after the initial install. However the Redline guy did say it fit and even produced a small run of Redline specific aluminum hangers that I still have in my shop. If you are interested in helping please let me know. We can get started today." I emailed him back saying I was willing to help.
Also I am going to see and ask him about making an aftermarket radiator. If you take out the stock h/e when you put the dual pass h/e on there is alot of room for a bigger radiator.
Well mark just emailed me back saying that it would take about 2 weeks to have one built. He asked me where I wanted the inlet/outlet nipples on the driver or passenger side, I told him driver side, cause that where they are on the CA H/E. What kind of fittings should I get, I didnt know there were different ones.

the height is 6" tall when he originally emailed me he made a typo. He is making a 1 of for me and its gonna have the 1/4" bung in the top for people who have option be on the dual pass with the extra coolant bottle, where it currently running into the top of the stock h/e.
