license plate light not working!

Ok got it guys. The light plugs into another wire inside the bumper. I unpkuged it there and there was power coming out there. So, somewhere between that harness n the bulb, there was a bad wire or something. I didnt visibly c anything. I snipped the harness connector off n hardwired a new led lite in!
