lol, i wish i was hitting that. When i had my M62 on last with with the 2.8" pulley. I had the canadian ss/sc gauge, was hitting 130kpa (18psi) then switched to the american ss/tc gauge and it said 25psi. Then put my TVS without a tune and it says 27psi...need that to be correct, should be around 20-21psi with the TVS once tuned

You overpaid for that gauge. CED has it for about $57 + shipping. http://www.crateenginedepot.com/stor...5-P2291C0.aspx

the map and pigtail (gm 12223861 - 3 Bar MAP sensor, 15305891 - pigtail harness)

the reason its not plug and play is the ss/sc uses a 2.5 bar map sensor, the ss/tc uses a 3 bar map sensor. both use a 0-5 volt signal, but they use a different scale. as already stated, you need to install a 3 bar map and have the pcm tuned for it.

or just get an aftermarket mechanical boost gauge

How hard would it be to tune the 3bar map sensor?

It's not TOO bad, but it's much easier to keep the stock map sensor and go with an aftermarket boost gauge.
