I just installed the JBP header about a month ago and was retuned this past weekend. I really like it so far. More torque and my hp/tq numbers were basically even on the dyno which is pretty cool. From what I understand the hp is normally a little higher than the tq on LSJ's with other headers.

This means you lost top end, more hp than tq means good torque above 5252 rpm. PLEASE read up on things, you should know this after 4 years on this site

That GMR head went up for sale not long after I purchased the H62. If you ever decide to sell yours please let me know. The next GMR head I find I'm going to purchase no questions asked. It will complete my setup.

From what I understand is that this is a characteristic of this header. I am personally not concerned with making a hp on the top end. I am pretty happy with it where it is making power the way it does and it suits how and where I drive the car. I haven't seen any threads about loosing top end but I will take a look and see if they make sense. I tend not to believe everything posted on these forums. Not to say the top end loss you mentioned is not true.

Its an LSJ head with only the exhaust ports ported. It creates a better ratio between intake and exhaust port flow % for supercharged engines.

There are complaints about every header in one way or another for the lsj. Pick the one you like and can afford.

Small primaries and unequal length. It makes your car sound like a subie/has a missing spark plug.

buy the ZZP. I am not going into the header business for sure. One off custom I could get excited about, but the ZZP already hit the hot buttons for me and did the custom changes I wanted.

and good price/delivery/fab shop is very good there.

cti and zzp side by side

ZZP port

CTI port

I have tried them all: Vibrant mid, Hahn shorty, CTI mid, ZZP, and installed ott and pacesetter, repaired some ZZP two bolt shorties. ZZP long tube gets my vote

Hahn took a lot of work to fix it, broke 3 years later.

The subie sound also happens to be the same sound a normal 4 banger makes when its only firing on 3 cylinders.

They have a good rep....

Some customers had issues, but that happens with all brands of headers.

Like I posted before, do the research, and pick the one you like/can afford.
