Mine was a May build, so I was a mid-year build. March was the first, I forget what the last was, but I think it was June IIRC. June/July are the typical switchover times.
Yeah I was kinda hoping he didn't mean that's his WOT a/f. Mine's in the 10s IIRC.

Im hoping I don't have any real issues with the car before I go E. It ran a little warm this morning, 196 on DIC and it died would start stuttering bs... I'm thinking the MAF may have something to do with it.

Bringing this back up, since Ebristol posted it's possible to run E on a 2.9 with 60's. The stock 05 pump can't handle E right, the walbro 255 drop in fixes that without a adjustable fpr. I don't have a WB yet, but that should not stop me from going E, Or is it mandatory?

Ive been on zzp s3 for 6k no WB but yeah E is diff. So maybe I can swing a gauge, in going to grab a BRFS from zzp that should solve my fuel needs.

Not trying to Thread Jack or anything, but I've been wondering about E-85 Also. Alot of people on here just swap out injectors and tune for it. But our vehical's are not labled "Flex Fuel" That being the case, what about the fuel lines, fuel tank, gaskets, seals ect? People at work are all telling me that the E-85 destroy all that stuff.

Ethanol is not a very reactive solvent. It will eat aluminum , but only if it sits on it for a while and in mostly pure form. It will also eat fiber glass resin, but we dont need to worry about that. Our tanks, which are mostly likely polyethylene or some similar low re-activity plastic will be fine, your metal and synthetic rubber fuel lines will be fine as well. If the car is labeled flex fuel all it really just means it have bigger injectors and it has code in the computer that lets it decide what fuel is in based on O2 sensor readings.
You'll run into issues on cars with old natural rubber fuel lines, boats with fiberglass fuel tanks, and things like that.

And yes I would recommend a wideband to anyone looking to modify their vehicle with a custom tune.

95% IDC at 7,000 rpms. Its is "possible". A 2.8" might also work. Just shift a little after 6500rpms. Reving past 6500 on an LSJ is sort of silly in the first place.
I think anyone running 60s should try E85 before running out and dropping coin on 80s. E85 can make an 2.9" car much quicker then gasoline cars running much smaller pulleys.
Me too. Keep it simple.
