some of the guys here been getting that too including me. I was thinking possibly faulty sensor but since everyone else seems to be having the same issue, maybe it is cold weather. Just like the lean fuel code everyone was getting last year

Just recently I took my car to the dealership and they said it was a faulty indicator and they fixed it. I haven't had a problem since.

well, i shouldn't say hill. it was the incline to my driveway. it was at the top for about a day and i guess it rested and when i autostarted it probably read that it was low, but even when i leveled it off it seemed kinda low but the light went off. Im gonna add a little anywayz

the first time I saw my light come on was in the middle of the drag strip... now it comes on every time i turn on the car. I understand the cold and stuff, but what about when I was at the srtip? coolant seems full to me.

I TOO, am a witness to the "low coolant" light on the gauges. I have an 07 ss/sc and the day i drove it off the lot..about 2 hours later i had started my *NEW* car and it flashed "low coolant". I thought.. ok it's new, maybe i should top it off.. SURE ENOUGH the next day it flashed "low coolant". Been doin it ever since. I took it to the Wickstrom Chevy (where i purchased it) to get my first oil change (for no charge ) and i asked the mechanic about possibly a faulty sensor? He said he has never seen/heard of anything like this..says there must be something "mechanically wrong".. man.. what is a brotha to do?

My son's Cobalt is doing the same thing since it has gotten cold out. When I put his snow tires on I added some coolant so it was just above the resivoir split in the center and haven't seen it since. Interesting that alot of other people are experincing the same thing. I drove his car for almost a year and never had the problem....guess cause it was parked in the garage.
