lowered with 3" exhaust bangin on rear bar
#52
I'm taking my car in tomorrow to get the exhaust hangers fixored so that mine stops banging and rattling off of the suspension bar. Although I like the heater hose idea, and that may be part of my solution if the exhaust shop cant get it to stop.

Got some new mounts and a bit of pipe reworked on my by Clear Image today. Very nice. Even over speed bumps there is no contact with the suspension bar with my 3" exhaust.

MPX does the same thing I had to shorten mine because the bend wasn't over the beam correctly it was too far out, shortened it now I'm straight, I'm only an 1.3" lower in the rear too

I wonder would would happen if I get an exhaust... Im an LS and I am already close to the stock 1.75in or so piping. Im also lowered close to 4in in the rear. When the car is sitting in the driveway I have about 1.5in of clearance from the pipe to the beam. I have yet to actually make contact with it however. I want the Vibrant system bad though.

It's a stupid thing to happen, it might happen, and it might not, so you will just have to try it either way there is a fix just bend the pipe a little and see how it works

I am having clearance issues, I traded my 2.5" for a Hahn 3" and now my exhaust at the lowest point(the elbows that go from the middle, to the side, then to the rear) is only 2.25" off the ground... My front pinch weld height is 2.75 and my rear pinch weld height is 3.25 for reference... I heard it tapping the rear axle once when I had a ton of crap in the trunk but not since. Unfortunately one piece of the piping is touching the body so I don't think I can raise it more...
