LSJ-T questions

Hey LSJ-T guys, I have a few questions. Here's a list of what I have so far.

-stock ko4
-stock lnf intercooler
-stock lnf exhaust manifold
-ottp 3 inch catless down pipe
-magnaflow 3 inch cat back
-lnf o2 housing
-lnf coolant crossover pipe
-maf relocate
-oil and coolant lines
-lnf wastegate
-ottp charge pipes
-ottp intake manifold for lsj-t
-80# injectors and harness
-tial bov
-2.2 alternator kit from ottp

1. What intercooler you guys running? I have the OTTP intake manifold, and OTTP charge pipes. Right now I have a stock LNF intercooler, but I want to upgrade before I start the swap. I also need to upgrade my turbo from a ko4 to hopefully a s256.

2. Boost controller? I was thinking maybe the turbo smart from OTTP, or maybe a hallman pro? Opinions?

3. Exhaust options. Currently I have a stock lnf exhaust manifold, a 3 inch catless OTTP down pipe and the 3 inch magna flow cat back that's on my car. What's a good full exhaust set up for LSJ-T?

4. Anything else I'm missing for this swap? Like I said before, I want to upgrade all the stock lnf parts.

I run a Hahn inter cooler on my red Lsj t and the blue has a zzp. Go with a tr12 honestly.

Get a hall man pro I guess. I use it on my red Balt but blue Balt has a dual stage boost controller from turbo smart. Love it but I'm gonna rip it out and go with a GFB boost controller

Upgrade the clutch to begin with. Stock stuff may not hold the boost. Especially from a ko4 unless you running a lnf clutch

Will any intercooler work with my ottp charge pipes? I thought about getting a tr10. I want to upgrade my clutch. I eventually want a goal of 500 hp. Would a gmpp be good enough for that?

Your pipes should work fine. Gmpp can work with 400hp, if you want 500 I would not go with it.

If you have a goal of 400-500hp, you are wasting your time with the k04.

save more and just start with the s257 kit from OTTP. You are going to make like 320whp on that k04 and the LNF exhaust manifold isnt going to help you with a new turbo down the road.

Okay so which clutch should I go with? I want to buy a s256. I already have an ottp catless down pipe, don't wanna get another down pipe for the s257. What makes the aem boost controller better than the hallman pro?

I don't have any experience with the hallman. I run it off the wastegate most of the time And have two other boost settings up to 1.5 X the wg pressure with a press of a button. Very easy and simple to use.

You don't need a new downpipe for a 257...

I might have to consider the AEM one then, thanks!

Nothing different than a 256. T3/T4 manifold with a 3" vband downpipe.
