Lsj transmission talk
I've been hearing about a lot of LNF transmission deaths lately and I got thinking, is it all that common with LSJ's? I've never heard of a big turbo lsj breaking a transmission. Many LNF deaths are due to: quick spooling ZFR, 3.82 GR, very strong clutches. As an lsj, with a 4.05 there is less stress. I'm just trying to get a feel if upgrading my LSJ trans is something that needs to be done sooner than later.

Just go the 4t45e route, ZZP has one on their website. Most of the parts can be sourced from GM to make it work, few people have done it. Lot cheaper than 4t65ehd.
Esp easier for me being an HHR, everything down to wire harness and computer are available since the car came with it from factory.
Not sure why everyone hates on the auto, will get great E.T.s. But if you are stuck on manual, F40 without a doubt. Will hold the power better than an F35.
