Lsj turbo daily drivers?

I have been thinkin alot about switching to a turbo and am looking into it. I was wondering who all has a dd turbo'd lsj and what setup you have ? And any suggestions for me..Thanks alot!

not 100% sure but i beleive USMCFieldMP dd's his turbo lsj, hed be one person to talk to

I dd mine for the most part, except when the rain is too bad and I don't drive it in winter.

I basically dd mine. I do have a 96 saturn sl2 to drive as well if it snows real bad but I do try and drive my car as much as possible.

drive mine, not around town but any time i go on any trips over 50 miles or so cause the damn thing gets almost 45mpg now on the highway!

If you use a turbo around the same size as the LNF, it's probably going to be like DDing a LNF. Now if you built up a 600HP Cobalt, probably not the best DD.

not quite, we have a tad higher compression so it spools a bit faster than an LNF lol i have logs where before i hit 50% ETC my boost was at 100%.

I drove mine for 3 years at over 400whp on the stock motor and never had an issue, just gotta keep up with the maintence involved in an aftermarket turbo setup (ie checking t bolt clamps once every few weeks, and keeping up with oil changes)

you're supposed to change the oil? i though you just added water when it gets low?

hahn setup for me and i love it as a dd, pix n' **** in the vb garage. i beat on the damn thing at 22psi everyday and take it to the races and she runs great, i digg, 40roll, and 60roll and not one issue
