Lucas Injectors

I will be installing these this weekend to go with my 3.00 pulley and intake. Can I install these with the harness w/out using a maf translator or a mini afc?

nope. your computer will not realize that the size and pulse of your injectors has changed. if your car runs, it will run like poop. you can run that pulley without injectors and be ok. but changing injectors requires engine management.

I figured... guess I'll be ordering more stuff next week... Car is running pretty good with the stockers, but I will be doing the exhaust soon and don't want to lean out too much.

Good call bro. Get the MAF-T. Your motor will love you for it.

I did the plugs also, car ran much smoother stock with 7ix's, that 3" pulley made a big difference car pulls real hard now and peaks alittle below 16psi. no CEL as of yet which is a good thing, even with the airbox mod and a k&n e-1009.

instructions are quite simple....

to install:
connect mass air flow sensor plug into one end of maf-t. plug the other end of the maf-t into the mass air flow sensor on your intake.

to tune:
there are two dials if you open up the box. the dial to your left adjusts the "standard" a/f level. (there is a diagram on the underside of the top piece of the box). the right dial adjusts the a/f at wot. you are going to want some way to monitor the a/f before tuning.

anybody have a good setting for the maf-t with a 3.00 pulley and cold air intake, I don't have the cash for a wide band for at least 2 more weeks.
