Ok what is the purpose of a cat?
It burns up extra fuel that is left over from the combustion process.
So if that extra fuel does not get burned up in the cat where is it going to get burned up?
In the resonator and muffler.
This is a huge problem for any stock or GM staged lsj because the tunes are so rich. Most people choose to ignore it because they want to be able to say they are running a cat-less exhaust.
In reality you can find a high flow cat that will flow just as well as a cat- less system.
Bottom line...dont buy a nice cat-back system if you plan on running a cat-less dp. If you feel the need to run a cat-less dp then build your own exhaust so its cheaper to replace the parts when they fail.

Ok I agree with you all.....
First I was worried that there was something wrong because of how raspy it was/is.
I still love the system!
Second why go custom if I am getting a catless DP? What may I screw up?
Just wondering....
And I do not mind the "raspyness" soo much now that I know it is "normal"
