iv'e got an 07 ss/sc and currently running a 2.9, S2, intake, CX H/E but i am upgrading to 60's 2.8. My question is would AIS fender kit be worth the $ before getting everything tuned...??? I have tried searching and even emailed AIS, but havent found/heard anything to answer my question directy. So don't flame. Any help is appreeciated!
Also I am running stock exhaust and wondering if meth will be beneficial and what gains I might see when upgrading to the 60's &2.8 vs with meth, 60's, and 2.8 ? i have a tune set up for june 28th at tune time performance.

if i got meth i would get tuned for it, but i wasnted to make sure it will still be beneficial without an aftermarket exhaust. ANybody got an idea on the numbers i will see....Im guessing 250whp or so

Ya you can run the meth without getting tuned. However I would highly recommend you get tuned after the install. I had my kit put on with my stage 2 and it ran in the 9's A/F wise...super rich. The meth will richen the a/f ratio up approx 1/2-3/4 points with a 50/50 mix. You will see cooling benefits but that will be offset by the fact your car will run stupid rich and wont really see any gains.
After my tune I was able to run 25 degrees timing advance and compensate for the a/f ratio by leaning the car out. i currently run mid 11's a/f wise with the meth under WOT.
I also have a 2.8 and 60's.........meth kit was one of the best mods i did!!! I love the devils own kit, mine is a trunk mount system so the install was super clean and easy to access!
