I've been beating mine since the day I bought it brand new back in Oct of 05 and have added new mods every spring. Only problem was steering colum. I perform the required maintenance as scheduled and I currently have 120k miles. Not a bad car for 20k

Bought mine with 40k on it stock. When i got it i heard alittle rattling in the charger but that went away in a few thousands miles. i think it was drivin for awhile. i dont think the person who had it before me was into performance cause they had H rated tires on it. I couldnt get traction in first or the begining of second. Only problems was an altenator and th clutch just went out....but thats what i get for letting my friend drive it for a week(no driving A$$hole)

Coming from a guy who didn't do the research, I'd recommend what 1FastSSBalt said. If you buy used, take a mechanic with you and do a lot carfax research. The guy that owned my car before me modded the crap out of it (and he didn't know what he was doing either). I had a stage 2 pulley and belt running on stage 1 injectors and a bad tune. Result: PCM problems out the ass. Numerous trips to the dealership and enough headaches to make anyone want to give up the car.
Buyer beware, scan tool any used car for problems before you buy. Other than that, after bringing it back to stock and retuning it, I love my Balt and she serves me well as an everyday driver car that always turns heads.
