Sure did, I had a blue 2nd gen phase 1

I was on v6z24 a lot more, though, since the org was mostly 3rd gens.

no way i would use poly inserts over the TC mounts, #1 they're USED, #2 they give vibes, #3 the brand new TC mounts are the same price as those

Other people have been saying that the t/c mounts are only a little stiffer though and don't do much. Convince me ha. Right now I have three possible routs around the same price range. 1. Used ttr upper engine mount + ced t/c mounts 2. ottp stage 1 mount or 3. used ttr upper engine mount + used polly mounts. What do you think?

Mounts are always a very good idea to do right away.

Ive broken two down pipes so far from normal street fun but I keep wheel hop to a minimum by driving it cautiously in first which is why I haven't gotten traction mods yet. Its definitely pretty important to get some traction mods if you wanna track your car or launch it hard so you don't break an axle or something even worse.

i have the zzp mid length header and down pipe, and i broke six down pipes. i finnally had the exhaust shop move the flex pipe to the bottom of the down pipe like were the factory one was and had him move the cat to the top of the down pipe. i havent broken one in a year, and i used to break them like every two months.

i don't need to convince you into anything, as it's not my car, and i'm not making any money on anything, and the thread title is

MINIMUM TO REDUCE ENGINE MOVEMENT

if you're not looking for the minimum, get a set of $300 mounts and don't ask for the "minimum" because there's always going to be a big gap between that and higher end parts.

True... After reading a bunch of threads I went from wanting the minimum to wanting a permanent solution to fix engine movement and wheel hop. Ill either do a ttr upper engine mount along with t/c mounts or just stage 1 ottp rotated mount. Not sure yet.

my wheel hop was pretty coservative with the ingals on the stiffest setting w/ a 2.6 on the stock blower with 270 whp. i also had 50 percent boost cut till 4000 in 1st gear though.

i thought you were the one who said the flex pipe was better at the bottom? if it doesn't restrict flow to have 2 and it's not too expensive than it would probably be a good idea.

Why not just put the money into mounts that will prevent it from breaking?

I plan on it eventually. I just have a guy who does real good exhaust work for 1/3 of what everyone else does it for.
