I don't know what to tell ya - mine always has, and so have others I've driven.

you could be right. i was messn around yesterday and it certainly seems that way is normal. jus easing into the pedal works well. unfortunately, how many of us LIKE to ease into our pedal?

Well from what your stating to me it seems as if your letting the clutch out to fast causing the jarring in low range of first gear, which I have done that messing around to **** my girlfriend off and it will buck jar and slam around but like he said up top its not just your motor, its your motor and the whole vehicle jaring around because your letting the clutch pedal out to fast... Not knocking on you or trying to be rude just saying that, that is what it sounds like to me...

what im talking about has nothing to do with the clutch. its straight idleing in 1st gear in a parking lot or something. if u tap the gas pedal too fast...then u will get whip lash. the car is very sensative in 1st gear since its such a short gear....

with that in mind, its the only gear i can accelerate smoothely in...with this lousy tune.

humm well if thats the case maybe then it is your motor/trans mounts that probably just went out, and when you floor it the reving of the motor probably knocks the motor around the loose openings of the bushings....

haha wow.
anyways i got the poly trans mount and front mount... stopped alot of it. but didnt want the vibrations on a solid upper mount,

so i got the tq damper.

solved all the problems and no vibes. my brothers got the solid mounts all around, no difference in the two cars with the exception mine doesnt vibrate at idle and his does, horribly

someone should invent their own mounts considering the common problem and lack of several options

i noticed a lot less jerk going into DFCO ..... THE VIBES are quite a bit different than like a wheel vibration or something. i kinda of like it....but its going away everyday.

I'm a little surprised at how many people ruled out the mounts right away w/o even asking if the op checked his/hers. I have the same symptons but only 16k miles on my car. It's not 100% the reason the car does it but a bad mount can really exagerate the motions. I know cus I've been under the car and the rear mount is shot.

its weird cuz...i have 135,000 miles and i drive it like a regular car. when i pulled mounts off...they looked fine. no tears or anything. I guess, under the weight of the trany, they were a lil floppy. big difference with the new ones. even when i start the engine, i dont hear as much of the starter engaging. a lil quieter.

but, the car still has the whole DFCO deal goin on. just gotta be easy when gettin back on the pedal. just the way these cars are designed.
