depending on what type of aluminum they used for the pulley and that fact it vary well could have a solid(and hardened) e-coat job on it thus it could have a denser face then the lack-luster steel crank.
Rod, once things are figured out (and i'm on the bandwagon of a bad crank pulley) if you need anything, dont hesitate to ask, parts are becoming more scarce around here due to time but i can look for ya bro.

Okay guys here is what I know so far.
There should not be oil leaking down from between the pulley and the bolt.
Crankshaft pulley bolts should not be able to be removed with 2 fingers.
The pulley hole is now mis-shapened and won't come off without the use of a puller. I am on the way to get a puller now.
Then I will find out if the key-way is in fact there at all, as there are some concerns about whether it was even put back.
Back soon.

That might be your problem Everyone knows if you try to have fun with a GM vehicle it never ends good... just like "having fun" with Puerto Rican hookers....

Okay guys, here is the latest.
I got the pulley off only to find no key way.
On top of that the pulley was broken on the snout.
The shop who did the install is palying dumb at this point, which makes me concerned about giving them the car to fix. I don't really have a problem with someone making a mistake, but man up to it at least.
I will check tomorrow about having my spare engine sent here, then ship this one back east to be built for the project car backup engine.
PS Cam, I have never had a Puerto Rican hooker, are you saying they suck

Clapping to music is okay, after sex is only okay if she was really impressed by your performance. The type you refer to really sucks.

Thanks Hack, I am rooting for you to get the Soltice, but a 2.2 Cobalt would still make me sad. Sorry all you 2.2 guys, no offence, I am just speed happy.

It has been suggested that I try to un-mod the car and take it to GM for warranty work but I personally won't do that.
