Yea i got my bung welded towards the bottom of my downpipe, and I tapped power from the passenger fuse block, the sunroof 15amp fuse, and just like Sunburst I grounded mine to a bolt, just make sure you put the power on the left side of the fuse so it actually switches off lol, I accidentally put my power wire on the wrong side and it never went off!

I was told if turbo'd mount it atleast 36" from the turbo.
IDK about when sc'd.
I also believe you want the sensor mounted at a slight angle upwards.
I powered mine off a 10a circuit under the hood with a fusetap, don't
remember which one right now.

18" from the head N/A, 36" if boost/nitrous/high EGT. After the turbo for sure. Anywhere in the DP will work. You should be at least on the side of the pipe or the top, never the bottom.
There's a fuse panel under the center stack. Pick your power source, there's a ton of them.

It's not that it's upside down, it's that mositure/contamination in the pipe from condensation will blow out along the bottom of the pipe when the car is started. The element inside those sensors is basically a ceramic thing, and once it gets wet and dirty, it's garbage. As long as it's not straight on the bottom it should be fine, and honestly even if it was it might still last forever. Just a precaution. Not hard to mount it at a 45 degree angle instead of straight down usually.
Assuming you are catless, that's ok. Too far from the engine though really.

Best bet is to use one of those extension things or a j-pipe with the bung in it. You want it as far out of the stream as possible.
