Hold up all jokes aside. If I get the ottp mounts then ill loose the actual motor mount? Did I get that right. If my engine doesn't actually shift or move y wouldn't I be able to put a solid motor mount in there.

because the ottp mounts actually DO move the engine, they realign it. and they say its designed to work with only the stock upper mount cause thats the one that will give the most room to move.....untill i redesigned the TTR upper mount. its still a solid mount. and it still won't allow the engine to move but 5% of what it does without the mounts. but it definitely does not hinder anything. i've never had any wheel hop even when i TRY to make it do it...it wont

negative, get the ottp stage 2 mounts and use the stock engine mount.

the ottp mounts rotate the tranny & engine, a TTR solid engine mount will only work with them if you machine it to. but i would recommend getting the Ingalls torque dampener instead of the solid engine mount, you'll get the vibes you want (man that sounds weird, usually people dont want vibes) and you wont have to customize anything.

not by just looking at the engine. but if you install them yourself you'll be able to see how much it actually moves...obviously lol

no stress on anything. they really aren't that hard to install, just take your time and make sure you have a friend helping or floor jack.

go back to page one where i posted that link, my friend Maven is selling the "first gen" ottp stage 2 mounts for only $225 shipped! that's an amazing deal and will save you lots of money, considering they are $390 + shipping brand new

if they look old and beat up then thats because they are the original mounts, not billet and shiny like the new version. but i guarantee that they work just as good, Maven is a really good guy and treats his parts like gold.

Not responding, and saying that he declined to help you, are two different things...

So....WTF is going on here? I just looked back to like July and i dont see a PM from you OP. Not sure what you were asking but I almost NEVER decline to help people. There are surely PMs that slip through the cracks or dont get answered the first time, but I am not known for being unwilling to help. And not that it matters but did I read that right, you need mounts but wont buy from me because i didnt respond to your PM for technical help? I am sure there a few people here who could tell you I am a good seller, ship quickly, provide excellent documentaion of shipping and represent the stuff i sell accurately.

So whats your problem with the car?

I'm sry I didn't reli know there was a diff between ignoreing sum one n decliing to help the. Like I said I'm not bad mouthing him jus the 1500 I intended to go to parts now has to go to a new hydrolic system so I can't afford to buy his mounts so I'd rather wait 2-3 weeks to save up paychecks to get new mounts then buy his n not be able to test them out cuz my clutch loses pressure and no one can figure out the problem. I don't mean any disrespect so sry if u taken it that way.

i dont know what people were going on about. Saying you CANT use the ttr solid engine mount and ottp stage 2 rotated mounts together, i did it...not only did it work fine together it got better traction at the track, alot better. I just didnt like the vibs. Thats the thing about people on these forums, they go by "what they heard" or "what they read"....very few people have actualy tried doing whatever it is they are talking about, the rest just go along with everyone. I bought both TTR Solid Engine Mount and OTTP Stage 2 mounts together, installed engine mount...did a test drive on the street and at the drag strip then took it off and installed just the rotated mounts, tested that then tried the rotated mounts with the ingalls torque damper...then took off the torque damper off and put both engine mount and rotated mounts. Tried every combo possible...except for the poly inserts. engine mount with the rotated mounts works. Between the tests i did for my car i think for traction wise TD and rotated mounts work the same as engine mount and rotated mounts, however the rotated mounts with the engine mount has stronger vibs.
