They have free shipping & lower prices (I get discounted pricing) & can get any Magnaflow part as well as other reputable companies (borla, eibach, K&N, etc.)

I can't believe some people are saying our stock exhaust is 2.5", maybe O.D. at some spots. Its proposturous.
I've measured the whole exhaust and it bottle necks in two main places which includes the inlet of the resonator and the welded spot right before the axle and where it was about 2 1/8" I.D. and 2" and the diameter of piping changes smaller after the weld around the axle to about 2 1/8" itself.
Yes, i think a new muffler would help, but changing out the whole rear half of piping would help better. And better yet, a whole new catback.

You're totally right.......a whole cat back exhaust is the way to go......you just gotta have the money for it
I'm personally not getting one because I'm only gonna have the car 1 more year (2 year lease) and I can't justify spending the $400+ on one.....so my $100 muffler will have to make do...lol
Oh and I finally got the muffler today......BUT I gotta wait unitl Monday to get it put on
Stay tuned for pics & possibly a sound clip

Dang, those guys at the shop told me that the 18 wouldnt fit... oh well, the 14 in is already welded in there! and its ok. it does sound a bit raspy at about 4 grand, but then it mellows out. it sounds wayyy better at idle! either way, i like it better than the stock exhaust note.
